2027 $24,000 Student Athlete Scholarship Sponsor
A signature student-athlete recognition initiative created in partnership with Dysart Unified School District and the Dysart Education Foundation.
Purpose:
Scholarship funds are intended to support recipients as they pursue their next chapter
through higher education, collegiate athletics, career and technical training, certification
programs, military pathways, or other approved post-secondary opportunities.
Recipients:
Eight $3,000 scholarships will be awarded to exceptional graduating student-athletes. One male and one female from each high school: Dysart, Shadow Ridge, Valley Vista, and Willow Canyon. Total annual investment of $24,000.

The application process will begin January 1 thru March 1, 2027. Winners will be announced
April 9, 2027 and invited to attend the 9th Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner with their parents.
2027 $22,500 Scholarship & 2026 Laird Teacher Mini-Grant Sponsor
Through the Subaru Share the Love Event these investments help strengthen education throughout our community and demonstrate the lasting impact that can be achieved when businesses and community organizations work together.
Purpose:
For the past five years, Subaru Superstore of Surprise has proudly partnered with the Dysart Education Foundation. Through this partnership, we have witnessed firsthand how community support can change lives, inspire students, and provide hope for the future.
Recipients:
Outstanding graduating seniors are recognized for their hard work, determination and future aspirations and awarded $6,000 scholarships. They also support the Laird Mini-Grant Program, providing teachers with resources and tools that enhance learning opportunities in the classroom. Total investment $22,500.

2027 $15,000 Scholarship Sponsor & Awards Dinner
Our mission is to "Put Child Nutrition First" by building custom, financially healthy K-12 foodservice partnerships. We support each school district as an entire team with superior, fresh-from-scratch food, more menu choices, 5-Star onsite support, including education and community programs to fuel healthy lives.
Purpose:
We have supported the Dysart Education Foundation for the past seven years to sponsor scholarships, fund the Laird Teacher Mini-Grant funds, and sponsor and cater the Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner.
Recipients:
We fund two 2-year scholarships, $5,000 for students to complete community college or culinary school, put $2,000 towards the Laird Teacher Mini-Grants, and sponsor and cater the Annual Scholarship Awards Dinner.

2027 $7,000 Scholarship Sponsor
Our mission is to fund a female graduate attending a Community College or technical school to obtain her Associate's degree within her first two years without having to come out of her personal pocket.
Purpose:
We have supported the Dysart Education Foundation since 2017 to assist with funding higher education.
Recipients:
This $7,ooo scholarship, funded in the memory of Randy Sterna, a long time Dysart School District Volunteer, is paid over two years. It is awarded to a female graduate who is attending Community College or a qualifying technical institution.

2027 $3,000 Scholarship Sponsor
The Barnett family has been involved in assisting students in Arizona for many years. Their mission is to fund an annual $3,000 scholarship to pay for the first year of community college, a qualifying technical institution, or an Arizona state university in the medical field.
Purpose:
We have supported the Dysart Education Foundation since 2025 to assist with funding higher education.
Recipients:
The $3,000 scholarship will assist in the student's interest to become a doctor, dentist, physician's assistant, nurse, nurse anesthetist, dental hygienist, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, ultrasound or x-ray technician in the state of Arizona.
